What is the difference between the prophet of the age and a prophet of the five fold ministry? Is Brother Branham a part of the five fold ministry or not? Do we have prophets in the five fold ministry today?

What is the difference between a prophet and a gift of prophecy?Shalom saints, Gift of prophecy is the part of the local church, this gift is of the spirit whereby God can anoint any individual.
1 Corinthians 12:4 & 10; “Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit…….To another the working of miracles; to
another prophecy;to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:”
God may use a person often or seldom in this ministry to testify/foretell about things that are to be,Prophet is part of the five fold ministry that’s meant to benefit the local assembly,its basically an individual who gets caught up
by the Holy Spirit into a higher spiritual dimension of dreams and visions where he can see beyond the curtain of time and come back
to tell us about the future events.
Acts 11:28;”And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.”
Agabus was a prophet who who made a prophecy which came to pass and the disciples were able to prepare for the famine,this also indicates the important
useful aspects of the prophecy and proves that God does not uses his gift foolishly.
60-0308 Discernment Of Spirit:“E-6 But you know that God doesn’t do things like that; God doesn’t use His power and His gifts for foolishness. It’s going to be, whatever’s President, it’ll be President. And to know now which would be President wouldn’t help us one penny. It wouldn’t do us one bit of good to know who’s going to be President. So therefore, God doesn’t do those things like that.
And then if I made such a prediction as that, and it come to pass, and the newspapers packed it, and the magazines, then it would be to my glory. People’d say, “Look what a great prophet Brother Branham is. He told us long before it happened just who would be President.” And that would be to my glory. Do we have the Prophets in the five fold ministry today?
The answer is “NO” ,Jesus prophesied of Elijah coming at the evening time,but never mentioned Elisha
Matthew 17:11 “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.”There is no need for an Elisha because brother Branham as Elijah(scriptural proven and vindicated) has already revealed the
mysteries.So there is nothing left for Elisha to reveal. William Branham’s only real ministry was to reveal the seven seals that
unfolded all the mysteries needed by the Bride to be ready for the Rapture,and as such I would like to believe that we do not have prophets of the five
fold ministry in our day because brother Branham according to the scriptures has revealed all things so there is nothing left for the prophets of the
five fold ministry to reveal.63-0318:“E-69 Now, remember, in the days of the seventh angel, his sounding forth, blasting forth the Gospel Trumpet, he is to finish
all the mysteries of God.”Revelation 10:7 “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”
The Son of Man is revealed the Seven Seals are unveiled and now we know by revelation what is to come!!!
65-0006 The Sardisean Church Age:”E-33 Now we can see that Jesus Christ is revealing Himself through the ages by His Spirit in the messengers. They are as Moses was to the children of Israel. As he had the revelation for his day, so each messenger had God’s revelation and ministry for that day.
Thus when we see that the messengers are in His hand, we see the Lord identifying Himself with these men and granting them His power. It is not enough that He has associated Himself with the whole church, which we saw when He was seen standing amongst the seven golden lamp-stands. Nor is it even enough that we see the five fold ministry of Ephesians 4 (apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, pastors). For in each age the church goes astray, and it is not just the laity but the clergy group–shepherds are wrong as well as sheep. Then God brings Himself on the scene as the Chief Shepherd in the ministries of these seven men to lead His people back to the truth and the abundant power of that truth.
God is in His people–all of His people, for if any man has not the Spirit of Christ he is none of His. And He is the Word. That would be the Word recognized in the people. But He has placed a special leadership in these men of His own choosing and through the determined counsel of His own will. They appear once in each age. It is the same Spirit in them. What a far cry is this from the heresy of Rome. They have a man of their own choosing–one after the other–none producing the power of God–none abiding in the Word of God–each one differing from the one before him and adding what he desires as though he were God. God is not in it. But He is in His messenger and he who would have the fullness of God would follow the messenger as the messenger is a follower of the Lord by His Word.”Prophet of the Age- This is the messenger sent from God with a message of deliverance to the entire globe for that hour,he is the mouthpiece of God that God uses to speak and let his ways known to men, that his people may come and worship Him in His provided way according to His will. In the time God was about to destroy
the whole world with water he sent forth Noah first to preach the gospel of deliverance(his message was simply to call people to an ark of safety)he was the prophet of that age ,and all were supposed to hearken to his voice(which was God) in order to escape the wrath of God,it was the only provided way for people during that time outside of that death was gonna strike, and so was in the days of Moses!53-0507:” I can see Him when He died there and walked down at Calvary, down through the stair steps are He passed by those souls that were in prison, that repented not in the days of Noah, knocked at the door, “You should’ve heard the message of the prophet.”
Actually the Prophet of the Age ministry is to call people out of this world back to God, back to the True Gospel of Christ,its the only God’s provided way for
the initial hour.
Malichi 4:5-6 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”Prophet of the five fold ministry its a gift that God gives to benefit a local assembly,it has nothing to do with the entire Globe.
Is brother branham part of the five fold ministry?
Apart from the fact that Brother Branham is the Prophet of this Age (55-0117 How The Angel Came To Me, And His Commission:A Voice spoke from there, and said, “As John the Baptist was sent for the forerunner of the first coming of Christ, you’ve got a… have a Message that will bring forth the forerunning of the Second Coming of Christ.” ) I would also like to believe that he is part of the Five Fold Ministry,he had the revelation as well as the ministry of this day for perfecting the Body of Christ(The Church),in as much as he is the part of the Bride ,he’s also the part of the Five Fold Ministry preaching the Message of Forerunning, declaring the revelation of the Second Coming of Christ.

The Difference between the Prophet and The Gift of Prophecy.
Shalom Brothers & Sisters, Myself I think the difference is that a Prophet is a man who is born in a different way, he hears from God according to Amos 3:7. A prophet foresees way off than a person who is having a gift of prophecy. The prophet said in a spoken word “God Doesn’t Call Man to a Judgment Without First Warning Him which was preached in 1963-0724”
108. The prophet is a special man. A prophet is a man of whom the Word of the Lord comes to, because the prophet is so designed (life) that his subconscious and his first conscious is so close together that he doesn’t go to sleep to dream his dream, he sees it when he’s wide awake. See? Now, that’s something God has to do. See, he sees what’s going.109. A prophet foresees way off, see, the things that is coming. He sees the cup of God’s wrath, full, before it is filled. He can say, “THUS SAITH THE LORD! God will destroy this city except you repent.” Why? He’s an eagle. He rides way in yonder. See? And he looks way off there and he sees that cup of wrath poured out. That’s what the prophet’s looking at. He ain’t looking what’s going on here, he’s looking yonder! He’s saying, “It’s coming!” He can go so high till he can see that shade. He said, “The world will be dark—darkness and gross darkness.” He’s up high enough, the sun’s shining now, but he sees that shade coming, and he’s—he’s—he’s saying what he’s looking at. It ain’t here yet, but it’ll sure be here! That’s right. It’s going to be here, gross darkness upon the people. He knows it’s coming, years away, yet he sees it.
The Prophet also said in in the spoken word “Expectations which was preached in 1953-0810”. 11 (Second Paragraph) Now, those are the nine spiritual gifts that’s in the body now. They work through the body. But then there is gifts and callings without repentance. That’s an a vindicated prophet sent from God, from… You don’t receive that. That’s a gift sent from God, that’s born in your birth, come down through, and been set you down through. And that… A prophet, not a gift of prophecy…The Gift of prophecy can move from one person to another and it must be judged before it is said before the people (Church) according to the Spoken word Demonology, Religious which was preached in 1953-0609, the prophet said in paragraph:
70 “God, in sundry times and divers manners spoke to the fathers through the prophets, in this last days through His Son, Christ Jesus.” And the Body of Christ has nine spiritual gifts operating in it. And it might be on this woman tonight, prophecy, may never be the rest of her life. It may be on this woman the next night. May be on this man the next time. May be on that one back there, the next time. That doesn’t make her a prophet, doesn’t make no one a prophet. It’s a gift of prophecy in you.
71 And before that man or that prophecy can be given to the church, it has to be judged before two or three spiritual judges. Is that right? According, now, Paul said, “You all may prophesy, one by one.” If something be revealed to this one, let that one hold his peace. Well, that would make the whole bunch prophets then, according to the teaching of today. No, Pentecostal church, we’ve got things all scrupled up. And that’s the reason God can’t come in, till we get the thing straightened out and on the Bible. That’s right. You got to get the right path. How you going to build a house without looking at the blueprint? See? You got to start right.

1. What is the difference between a prophet of the age and a prophet of the five fold ministry?
Now, in an attempt to divide these two, I believe that an understanding of the concept ‘five fold ministry’is inevitable. In the Spoken Word ‘ The Baptism of the Holy Spirit’ 58-0928M P191, Bro. Branham says and I quote ” Apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, pastors. That’s what the Body consists of…”. Ephesians 4:11 and 12 also tells us that this ministry is to cater for the Body of Christ: to edify and perfect it. Now, with this in mind, one is able to understand that the difference is merely that a prophet of the age is the five fold ministry in one man, born to occupy that office alone (Jeremiah 1:5) and a prophet(s) of the five fold according to the above scripture is the many membered ministry. I will expound more on this as I attempt to answer the subsequent question.
2. Is Bro. Branham a part of the Five fold ministry or not?
I would say yes. If we go back and look at what the five fold ministry is suppose to do and to whom are they ministering to, We will find that Bro. Branham formed part of this ministry. Now, according to Rev 10:7, that’s him alone. And in that ministry, his ministry, if you have a bit of his background, you will find that he was an apostle (he went 7 times around the wolrd), he was a prophet (born and ordained and predestined: Jeremiah 1:5), one time he was a pastor, a teacher and an evangelists. That’s your son of man type of a ministry.
3. Do we have prophets in the five fold ministry today?
“…When he ascended upon high, He led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men”. Gifts and calling are without repentance. Ephesians 4:11 promised them and Hebrews 13:8 says He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Here, I believe we need to understand what a prophet is. In the Spoken Word ‘Demonology, Religious realm’ 53-0609a P73, Bro. Branham was showing that the New Testament also ‘had’ prophets and makes an example of Agabus e.t.c. He also echoes the same thing in the S.W: ‘I perceive that thou art a prophet’ 53-0614E p13. I advice one to read more for better clarity.
However, in the message ‘This great Warrior, Joshua 55-0119 p2 i quote ” after all, my dear friend, you know what a prophet is, a New Testament prophet? Is a preacher, is exactly. A prophet is a preacher. The Word ‘prophet’ means means to foretell or tell forth, either preach or foretell… The testimony of Jesus Christ is a Spirit of prophecy… so everyone of you are prophets to testify of Jesus Christ”
In the message ‘Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever 56-0225 p26, Bro. Branham makes an example of John the Baptist who was the bridge between law and grace and state that, John never did any miracles at all but he pointed the world to Jesus/the Word, and was considered the greatest of all prophets according to Matthew 11:19. He said the prophets spoke of Jesus’s coming and they did many miracles but John had the privilege to introduce the Word to the world. No man leads people to the Jesus more than preachers. Mind you that the Bride/prophets is that final voice to this final age as we have been taught. The same things that William Branham uttered are the same that the Bride will utter: same as Micah and Elijah.
So YES, we do have prophets in our day today according to my understanding.
4. What is the difference between a prophet and a gift of prophecy?
In the message ‘Jehovah Jireh’ 55-0817 p9, Bro. Branham says and I quote ” now, there’s a difference between a gift of prophecy, and a prophet. One is a gift of prophecy, and the other one is a prophet. A gift of prophecy must be judged by two or three spiritual men. It can be upon one person tonight, be on another person tomorrow night, and on another one the next night. What is it, is a gift in every local body, a church. But a prophet is different. They are born a prophet. And they come up prophets. All that they say must be true, every time, or it cannot be recognized as a prophet in the office”. Read also Deuteronomy 18:21-22. Those that guard those gift to make sure that they operate correctly those man in the five fold ministry in their local assemblies.

The Prophet of the age cannot be judged by a panel according to the below quote;
“But now, you take a person that would a prophet like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Moses. No one stood before them to judge whether it was right or not. They were borned in this world prophets. The Word of God was with them. ”
54-0719A God’s Provided Way Of HealingNow I think the prophets of the five fold ministry are to be judged but not the same way as the gift of prophecy that has to be judged by three witnesses (two or three) before it can be given or accepted in the church, according to the Scriptures.
“Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.
For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

1 Corinthians 14:29-33as for the prophets of the five fold ministry they can only be judged by the word,their prophecy is to be given a “Word-Test” and see as to whether whatever they said would come true or not ,of which if it does not gets to be fulfilled that would mean it’s false and people should not believe them any more
“But a prophet, like the Old Testament prophet, they had the Word of the Lord. The translation was right to them. And they were known, because the Bible said, “If there be one among you spiritual or a prophet, I, the Lord, will make Myself known unto him, speak to him in visions, and reveal Myself in dreams. And if what this man says comes to pass, then hear him, for I’m am with him. If it doesn’t, then don’t hear him. I’m not with him. Don’t fear him.”

I agree with my sister, The Prophet of the age cannot be judge by a Panel. The Prophet said in the spoken word,
‘Expectations’ which was preached in 10 August 1950.
“Who ever stood to judge Isaiah, to see whether his prophecy was right or not? They knowed from his time through that he was a prophet. Who stood to say to Jeremiah, when God told him He made him a prophet before he was born from his mother’s womb. And all those who lived right, they knowed he was a prophet”.
Also in ‘Expectation’ which was preached in 05 April 1950
Now, those are the spirits of the gifts that’s in the Church. But the only person that has a right to say, THUS SAITH THE LORD, is an a vindicated prophet. You never seen anybody judging Isaiah, or Jeremiah, or those people. They were prophets, foreordained and borned in the world to be prophets. And they foresaw the thing by a vision, and then said, “THUS SAITH THE LORD,” for the Lord had already said it.
A PHROPHET AND A GIFT OF PROPHECY
A Prophet is a reveller of the word of God and is born a prophet with a subconscious and conscious closer together that they can easily see visions, the do not have to sleep to see visions their prophecies are not judged like the one given by a gift holder because they are vindicated prophet/s. A gift of prophecy is an ability to receive an inspired message to an individual of a church the gift is not limited to an individual it can move from one individual to another and it has to be judged by the word of God.

15 It’s always foreseen, what is going to take place by gifts in Spirit. It’s the revelation of God that’s revealed. And therefore, you only act and dramatize what you’ve already seen happen. Many people gets it mixed up sometimes about gifts and callings. Gifts and callings are without repentance. God foreordains those things and sends them on the earth. And then a vindicates them that they are. Here not long ago, a person walked to me. Now… And many times they do, and said, “THUS SAITH THE LORD, The Lord said, ‘Do this.’ If you didn’t go to a certain place, or a certain thing, and do a certain thing, the Lord’s going to strike you and take this gift away from you.”
16 Now, that isn’t true. That isn’t true. Gifts and callings are without repentance. There is spirits that’s in the Church. That’s true, such as gifts of prophecy, healing, and so forth. But they’re in the entire body. They may fall upon one person tonight, a prophecy, and It might not never fall on that person again; It might be somewhere else in the body. And those spirits are supposed to be judged. “Let one speak and two or three judge,” said Paul. Now, those are the spirits of the gifts that’s in the Church. 40 There’s a difference in a prophet and a gift of prophecy. And if you’ll notice in the Bible, healing is in plural, gifts, g-i-f-t-s, gifts of healings. But a p-r-o-p-h-e-t is a prophet. And there’s a gift of prophecy, which is in the church. It’s to be judged by two or three judges when It’s been given. Is that true?

THE PROPHET OF THE FIVE FOLD AND OF THE ENTIRE AGE
The prophet of the age is revealer of the word of God, God’s mouth piece and he is vindicated by the word. It is one individual but the prophet in the fivefold work together with the Apostle, Evangelist, Teacher and the Pastor to edify the church and they all repeat what the main prophet has been saying, they bring nothing new to the church
